NC State News represents my very first Windows Phone 7.5 application.

I decided to go on ahead and download the developers tools for developing Windows Phone applications. Â 6 hours later, we have NC State News. Â NC State News is a very simply application that downloads news articles from the RSS feeds of NCSU.edu, GoPack.com, and NC State’s aggregated Twitter accounts. Â The application stores articles in a database on the device. Â I am able to very easily connect the data to a Panorama view in Windows Phone 7 resulting in a simple, but rich application.
The ease of developing for Windows Phone is very noticeable once you have been head down in Android development for six months.
The app should be available in the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace early this week. Â I have already uploaded the source code to Google Code under the Apache License, Version 2.0. Â You can get to it here:Â http://code.google.com/p/nc-state-news/
